Our Academics
At St. Petersburg Christian School we impact student's lives with academics that will prepare them for their daily world and beyond. In our Lower Division, fundamentals are taught to serve as the foundation for the rest of a student's education. Our Upper Division builds on that foundation, preparing each student for the journey that lies before them in high school.
Elementary
Our Elementary Division consists of Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Each classroom is creatively designed to provide an environment where children feel safe and secure. Our classrooms provide a community of learners who learn to respect each other as they participate in thoughtful and productive collaborative experiences
Middle School
Our Middle School Division consists of grades six through eight. The curriculum is rigorous and challenging and is designed to meet the needs of all students. Our curriculum assists students in developing the necessary skills for higher learning.
Learning Resource
Our Learning Resource Center helps those simply "catching up" (remedial needs) to those experiencing a learning disability (LD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Instruction is offered on a part-time or full-time basis, determined by the child's needs and in consultation with parents. A diagnosis of academic skills helps to direct the formulation of an Personal Learning Plan (PLP).The program's goal is to build needed skills as quickly as possible so the child may successfully return to the mainstream.
